For Cocotte, everything began in 1993.
Cocotte’s initial mission was both simple and very complex: provide bike couriers and messengers a sturdy and durable bag that could survive the sometimes harsh weather conditions of their daily work life.
The Alfredo bag was born out of this objective, the first in a long line of bags and accessories made locally to last a long time. Quickly adopted by Montreal bike couriers, Cocotte bags gradually gained popularity outside its original niche, as many students and workers adopted them over the years.
Despite its success, Cocotte Équipement has always been keen to preserve the DNA that made it famous. Even today, it is a small team who designs and manufactures all the bags, while remaining keen to use high-end materials.
More than 25 years later, the goal has remained the same: to make bags that can last a lifetime and support you, no matter how and where you plan to use them. Because nothing should stand in your way when you have got to keep going.
